Isn't that what a sampler is about. No block is exactly the same as the others! I think it looks great!

There are many names for this block. Block Base lists:
    Arrow- Aunt Martha
    At the Square- Nancy Page
    Colorado's Arrowhead- Workbasket 1935
    Fireside Visitor- Clara Stone
    Rope and Anchor- K C Star 1960
    Broken Dish- K C Star 1937
    Betty's Choice-Needle Craft Supply 1938.
I personally call it Arrows or Double Arrows, depending on whether you turn the colors to form single or double points.

Great job Judy... Love your choices, so pretty! Jan
Wow, never knew this pattern had so many names!

And to all who commented, yes, this is really a scrap-happy quilt! As soon as I finish the work on Mystery # 14, I am going to make another one of these. They are an easy block, as Jan said, once you wrap your head around the fact is is just a bunch of simple 4-1/2" blocks.

The different fabrics & placements sure makes a difference doesn't it? Amazing to me. Nicely done!

It is the "London Roads" block and here is a free pattern in 4 different sizes with tutorial.

It appears London Roads is the name of Judy's first quilt blocks that use 3 triangles for the corner blocks. The names I listed are from Block Base and they apply to the second set of blocks Judy made, using 4 triangles for the corner blocks. Interesting.

Found yet another name for the blocks at the bottom picture of my original posting, the one Jan told me about. I was looking through my box of patterns, and found Cupid's Cupboard that I have made in 2011 for a block swap when I was swapping blocks. I always would write on the pattern who I sent it to, so wouldn't give the same block again. I had printed the free pattern off the Connecting Threads site, and promptly forgot about it as it was way at the bottom of the box and never came across it again!

Looks like the link I posted did not come through. I have a request to repost, so here it is again. Hope it works this time. http://www.generations-quilt-pattern...ilt-block.html

GeeGee, wow, doesn't this pattern look entirely different with only 2 colors! Love it, thanks for the posting.

Yes it does and I have made this block in yet a different color combination. Love all the varieties. Sorry about the original posting. I thought I had checked to make sure that it came through but somehow missed it. Have a great day!
