Just finished one of my dad's gifts. He's a big Steeler fan with a big recliner, so I think he will put this to good use.

It just came off the sewing machine, and now it is going in the washer, and I am praying that Kona cottons don't bleed, because I used a lot of it and I didn't prewash it. I hope I don't regret that decision.

(I don't even have room anywhere to lay the whole quilt out to take a good picture--I barely have room to sew!) :D

I ALWAYS put a dye catcher sheet in when I wash my quilts. If you haven't used them, get them in the dryer sheet/laundry products section of the store. I think they are terrific, and so is your quilt. I am sure your Dad will love it.

Nice job!! If I were you, I would throw a couple sheets of color catchers in the first wash just in case. I wouldn't "trust" the red Kona not to bleed. Kona is good fabric but you just never know!!

Your Dad will love this quilt! In case you haven't washed it yet, I put in a handful of regular table salt and nothing has ever bled on my quilts. Just a thought ...
