    when she did her she didn't have the yo yo maker it was a little harder but now with the yo yo maker they are easier i did try one before i got the yo yo maker you have to cut plastic to get a round disk then i draw around the disk on back of the fabric then cut your 1/4 or 1/8 from the line fold your fabric at the line then try even long stitch all around then draw your thread together but the yo yo maker cut alots out of some of the work make it a little faster

    Wow that was so sweet of ninnie to send you all that beautiful fabric . I love yo yo's I've always done it the hard way , but guess now I need to go buy a yo yo maker. Thanks for showing use your neat yo yo's and fabric :thumbup:

    I've done some small yoyo's by hand to use as flower embellishments. It will take longer to make a quilt, but it will look great when finished. I've seen a pic somewhere of a purse made with yoyo's. Don't know how large they were. There are other ideas if you Goggle them, as well as Search on the Board. Thanks for showing us.
