Goodness... so many yo yos! That's a mind boggling amount of hand work! A true labor of love. I haven't seen a yo yo quilt in long time. You are reviving a nearly lost design! Great work so far.

Who's Rhys? I must be missing something. Is it a cat?

This yo-yo project is incredible! You and your passion for small pieces and your perseverance are simply mindboggling. DJ. Very pretty.

I strung them a row at a time to help me keep them in order (see pic). Yes, I'll hand sew a row together then by row by row to finish but no sandwiching or binding, yippee! It's for a twin bed thank Goodness! Made a funky pillow sham/cover with some of the leftovers. Guess I'll need more ideas for the remaining yo-yos. I got a little carried away cutting fabric & sewing them into yoyos!!

Thanks for looking & for the encouragement!

Silly me! I'm such a dork. I kept wondering what sort of talented pet you had who could change the look with linen! LOL . And I wondered why I didn't see him in your photo.

    It's late...after midnight...that's my excuse!

Oh, I just made up the pattern with what colored yoyos I had made over the last 4 years that would fit around the square. I'll called the pattern "Rhys", sound alright?
I have an English square down pillow wrapped in a solid cream damask to put the sham/cover over so Goodie, Goodie, I don't have to buy anything!!!
