    What a really beautiful treasure!! Just imagine all the hours and hours that went into it! And all these years later, having someone treasure it just as much as she did when she made it.

    It is beautiful!!!!! I love vintage, I would guess it was made in 1926

    for labels on quilts. Maybe we can,
    together, start a tradition for all
    quilters to make labeling, a priority.

    Thank you for the pictures. You G-GM did a beautiful job with this quilt and it seems to have held up very well over the years. I love Dresden plates. A few years back I got some plates on eBay. It seemed like an easy way to get them done. However, I found that some of the blocks didn't lie flat and now I'm re-sewing pretty much all of them. Hope my quilt turns out as nice as the one you have. Your post is a reminder that I need to get back to this UFO.
