Omigosh! I can't wait! I'm an interior decorator from the heart and this is right up my alley too! Was in the wrong art school in college when I really wanted to be in the School of Interior Design. We will all be looking forward to your pics! It's so nice to surround yourself with beautiful pics for inspiration! I'm anxious to see all the projects coming out of this thread!

    :D :D

    I love it!
I don't think I'd let anyone near it.
I'd have to put up a barrier between couch/sofa and people walking by.
My clan would be layed out napping on those!

    Those are beautiful!
Or the kids with their shoes and dirty jeans, or my choc lab who thinks she owns the couch? By the way, my couch is brown on purpose.

I would think that they would wear out very quickly.......nice to look at but I might feel the need to cover them in plastic like Ray Barrone's mother.

I'm getting a charge out of this one!! Seriously, this is for the quilter who has everything and it's for Her Studio and no one else can sit on it but her! It's her "inspiration" piece to create something gorgeous! No one else can appreciate the work put into a quilt imbedded in a sofa like her! Or it may be a "dust collector" that'll never get used!

    ;)

You know the reality for me is--this winter I acquired a 7 foot church pew and I am going to make a quilted cushion for it!!--that's so I won't have to dust the seat!!LOL

Very pretty...but I'll stick to leather, good old wipeable leather, which when it ages and wears just gets more comfortable.

Oh and as for plastic covers...a complete unknown in our house. Last year my youngest called in at a friend's place and he came home stunned..."Mum, they had plastic runners on the carpet, fitted plastic covers on the furniture and on lamp shades...what's that all about...who does that?" For once, I was lost for words.
