You could have knocked me down with a Featherweight! :D

I bid on a featherweight on eBay and was almost outbid at the very last moment..but I wasn't! Yay! So now I am the proud owner of this little beauty. I knew they were small and cute but I've never seen one in the flesh before and I was surprised at how small and cute they really are. We left home at 5 am this morning to drive the 2 hours to pick her up. I'm not into naming machines but I think her name is Felicity Featherweight and she was born in USA in 1953. (Actually, hubby came up with the name and I think it suits..lol). She sews like a dream too :)
When we got there the guy had a buttonholer as well which I bought for a little extra.
Some pics of her and the various feet and the buttonholer...and a comparison in size with my Horizon :)

I wish the person that broke into my house back in the 70's didn't still my grandmother Singer FW, other wise I would still have it...dern thieves.
And Congrats on your new machine, hope you enjoy her!
