I think it just goes to show that even if we don't think our quilts make that much of an impact sometimes - they do! And you never really know in what ways, or for who! :)

And Allie did really love her's, but also apparently paid attention to the others as well!
    :)

Don't you see what wonderful memories you are creating by quilting? And, for what it's worth, you have a wonderful family that actually appreciates your efforts and understands what a big job making a quilt is!

As for that adorable grandchild, I am looking forward to seeing her as a news analyst or reading her books when she grows up!

Thanks for sharing! It always amazes me how intuitive children are. She recognized the love and caring that went into not only her quilt, but the others as well...and that you personalized each one so they were all different.

    Thank you! :)
No, I don't think she ever took it for show & tell, she mostly wrote about everyones quilts that I had made.
And yes, I am much blessed in that all my kids & grandkids appreciate their quilts. :) My steps, are more so so, at least so far. But that's ok too, it's me who wants to make them. :)

Yeap, my daughter said she'll make me a copy when Allie gets to bring her journal home. :)
Yes, kids are really intuitive, they always recognize the love and caring.
