    I think the tan looks great! Sort of mimicks the infield as well as a mitt!

    That was my thought, Angie. Looks like the infield of the baseball diamond. I would use it.

    Thanks everyone for your input.

    Showed the fabric to my daughter and she said, "Mom, that tan fabric looks just like dirt!" :lol: :lol: :lol:

    Am getting it all washed up and ready to go today.

    I made a baseball quilt for my son and found a wood grain fabric that screamed "bats". If I come across it, I'll send you the link.

    I vote for the tan.....but light blue would work as well....

    Love the tan. It brings out the hightlights in the other two fabrics.

    I think the tan works. If you're worried about it you could arrange the blocks so it ends up as one of the smaller patches in the D9P.

    I think it needs the solid because the other fabrics are quite busy. The tan seems to be in the graphics and therefore it is the perfect match. (It's also the color of the baseball diamond)
