Yes! I agree & after sleeping on it I am certain. That light green, first row from center, is too gray & just keeps bugging me. Back to the fabric store tonight. I'll be doing some ripping since I went ahead and pieced the center 4 squares last night. But I would rather do that than never be 100% pleased with how it looks.

I'll post the new fabric tonight so you can give your opinions on it too. Hopefully together we will get this figured out. Don't you love teamwork! :)

I agree, the innermost border is to flat for me, it looks grey in the picture, but maybe it's just the way it photographed.

I love the colors and the order of them.... I wouldn't change a thing.

It photographed pretty realistic. It is flat, it does look gray/green - now that it is not a large piece of yardage. And looks even more out of place in the 4 blocks I have put together so far.

Definitely going back to the fabric store to find a better match.

I think this is a good idea. It looks fine the way it is but I think since you are mixing the green and blue it should be more obvious why and surrounding both colors with the print will tie it all together. Pretty fabrics!
I didn't want to use the floral in the outer rows primarily because this is a gift for him & her, so did not want to overload him with floral. To me it is always a fine line between a wedding gift being for them vs ending up being for her. I always like to try to do something truly fitting for the couple.

The outside green doesn't go with the teal colors, and the grey doesn't do much for the over-all look (too bland). I would take out those two fabrics and add something with more punch.

I pieced a sample block of the first one and am not too sure of the colors. I'll wait to say what I think, so I can get your true opinions. Thanks for helping. :)
I think this will be nice as is, it is a little decieving with the white batting all around at this point, but I love your color choice.
