It is hard to see in the photos but some of the green fabrics actually have a glitter/sparkle in them.
Great quilt..great piecing.
I decided to add my loops and stars around the stars and the last border to make those other stars feel at home....and sparkle a bit more..then I outlined the stars ... surrounded them with a small stipple...I framed it all in with a swirlie feather...to give it some interest.
I love the finished quilt!
I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA> I used HObbs polydown batting.

OMG! This is the most stunning quilt. I love the colors and your quilting on the compasses makes them pop off the quilt. The detail quilting and the freather framing the border are the perfect touch. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: for you both. This quilt should be a show winner. :-D
