    Default Zipper Bag-Another First

Someone mentioned that this bag from Byannie.com was easy to make, so I tried it. It was good practice for learning to quilt, since I've only stitched in the ditches. The video explained how to mark the lines to follow. You start with a "sandwich" that is 18" by 21" and quilt a pattern. The size is manageable for trying out rulers and free motion skills.
After quilting the rectangle for this bag, I actually repeated the pattern in the border of the quilt I had finished--another first. Will post that quilt when I hem it.

I'm not a bag person, but I do like this one. The metal zipper and the details on the handle are what sets it of. I'd love to find a shallower pattern for these for my sunglasses to be kept in.
