    pretty ... btw, Zuri was the name of the new giraffe at the Cincinnati Zoo. Sadly, she had to be put to sleep because of a severe leg fracture that was not healing. :-(. She was only 3 months old.

    Oh no...I actually saw her. I was vending at Quilt Festival and got to meet her in person. She was just days old. Oh I am so sad. I bet her parents are in deep mourning. Oh...her mother Tessa is just beautiful. And her dad Kimba... Oh I am so sad...

    I LOVE giraffes! And Zuri is a beautiful name. Too bad about her namesake! But what a beautiful pattern to remember her by.
