About a contest

I have entered a quilt in a contest, am I aloud to post the link on here to get votes ?

Check the contest rules themselves. Some contests will void the entry if votes are put on other social media sites.

I would like to see the quilts that are up for voting. But I will vote for the quilt I like the best.

no, you cannot post the name of the contest, either as that would refer other members to the contest site the same as the link would. please refer to the community guidelines by clicking on the Help link at the bottom of this page.

you are absolutely welcome to post a photo, though, if the contest rules permit you to show it at sites other than the contest site.
it's ok to say you've entered it into a contest if you don't include other details about that contest.

i'm sure members would enjoy seeing it if you are allowed by the contest to share it here.
