    I did this too on the iPad and it solved my problems. I don't have the issue on my Mac computer

    I use Firefox as my server, no ads! That might help. I also use an ad blocker, just in case.

    I downloaded Adblocker (free version) and was unable to connect to the internet afterward. Still had problems after uninstalling and had to search Google to find out how to fix it. Still not convinced I have it off the iPad completely, but I can reach the internet now. I don't know why it works so well for some people but not for me!

    Was it Adblock for Free by Neverads? Or another one? (I remember seeing a number of free Adblocker apps.)
