I've been getting the same thing for the past few days that abcdconsultant talked about. It shows the pic of a young blonde woman (looks like a movie and T.V. star but I can't remember her name); says she is so many miles from me and would I like to meet her. I'd like to get rid of this, too, if anyone knows how.

when you see a questionable ad, it's best to report it by email.
take a screenshot while you have your cursor hovering over the ad.
DO NOT CLICK ON THE AD.
while your mouse hovers, the originating web address will show in the lower left corner of the browser window.
take the screenshot while that is visible.
attach the screenshot to the email.
send it to [email protected]
i will send it forward so the techs can track the source and block it.

I've got the same thing popping up on my computer. Mine is Stephanie, and she's only 2.8 miles away. Poor thing looked really lonely. LOL. I don't care how lonely she is, she needs to find another spot to roost.

Same thing here. If Stephanie would learn to quilt, she wouldn't be lonely. She could enjoy all her friends here on the Quilting board! LOL
