Default Anyone having trouble posting pictures

I wanted to post pictures today of the last three quilts I completed. But I can't load them onto the pictures site. I am doing it the way I always have done it, but something isn't working right. Anyone else having problems??

Are you trying to post with the same device as previous pictures? I cannot post from my new iPad but I can with my old one. It probably has something to do with the picture density as the new iPad takes better pictures.

Yes, everything is exactly the same, but apparently it is not!

While the FAQs here are excellent, with my level of security protections and my browser what I see in the pictures and what I see on my screen are different.

Some people send pictures to themselves and can get them loaded that way.

I have to reduce the file size of my pictures and I use this free, limited but easy, and most importantly does not set of my virus scanners.

Once you have downloaded the image, you can easily upload it back on site.

I use my Iphone and the pictures always come out sideways on this site. Drives me nuts. I don't know any solution.

Susie, It is the position of the phone when you take the picture. I email the picture to my email account in the "small" size format. Open the email and download the picture.

Then open the picture in the paint program. Make sure it is oriented correctly and then "save as" file name. This is the picture I select to post on the boards.

You need to do the "save" feature to keep the photo oriented correctly. If you just select the down load picture it doesn't load upright. Just had it happen last week on a post.

I am going to try the program mentioned in the above post the next time.

Once in a while I am getting a message when I switch from page to page that the page I am looking for is not available. I just wait a bit and come back and it is usually available.

Rhonda K thank you! I'll try that.
Does a Mac have a paint program? Not sure.
