What is the difference between an avatar and a profile picture?

Your profile picture is the one that shows on your profile. Your avatar is what appears along with your individual posts. Some people have their setting set NOT to see everybody's avatar, which benefits those with slower connection speeds, loads pages faster.

I see that your profile picture (by going to your profile) is a cute picture of three people. Your avatar (looking at just your post here) is a very colorful primary color quilt!

What message that I don't have a blog? Am I allowed to post on Quilting Board blog?

When I posted that I went to your blog, I meant that I clicked on the blog link under your signature, which I believe is perfectly fine to have showing. When KathyPhillips posted she got the message that you didn't have one, I assumed she had clicked on your profile name, clicked on "view blog entries" (the Quilting Board blog) and got the message that you didn't have a blog here, which I see from your profile info you don't. Get it? Think everything is fine
