    Default can't get pictures posted!

    OK, I've tried and tried.
I'm working on a apple. I go to the pictures thread, click for new post. I type in a message and scroll down to Manage Attachments. I choose my picture(s) and click to upload. Then EVERY time, it says "upload failed."
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing (or not)?
    Thanks!

Whenever I get the message upload failed it is because my pictures are too big. Try reducing the size of your pictures

Pictures are probably too big. Happened to me, and I had to get my son to reduce pics.

I'm sure that's the problem but I can't figure out how to reduce the size. If I go to email, which allows it be be shrunk, it goes to a regular email form and I can't "transfer" it to this forum.
I always knew I was computer illiterate!

here is what I do. I email myself the picture. I right click on the picture and "save it to downloads." Then, when I go to add the picture, I retrieve it from downloads. does that make sense?

i can right click on a photo and then go to OPEN with -Paint. in there i can edit/resize it.
otherwise i can right click on the photo and click COPY. then edit that one smaller. rename it same name with number 2 so you will know which one you just made smaller. play around. i'm sure you can figure something out that works for you.
