Click on "Settings" up top of the page, then look for "Edit Avatar" on the left of the next page. Where do you have the picture you want as your avatar? Put a dot in "use custom avatar". Click on "browse" and browse to it. Once you've found it, click on it, then click "open". That should put the picture's full file path in the box along side the browse button. Click "save changes". That should give you the new avatar, if it meets the small size requirement, which I think is around 160x160 pixels.

Thank you.I got as far as clicking use custom avatar,but didn't find browse.?

There's not an Option 1 and Option 2 showing right there?
If not, go back into settings, then click "general settings" on the left. Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and look for this:
[h=3]Miscellaneous Options[/h]Message Editor Interface:
Put a dot in the "enhanced interface" circle, and scroll to bottom and click save changes (i think that's what it says)
Then reopen where you found the "use custom avatar" before, now do you see Option 1 and Option 2?

Thanks again.Tried several times,already was on Enchanced Interface....but it stays the same,with only one clickable & no browse.I'm on iPad,if that matters.

Thanks for your help. I need to get on PUTER to see if it works on there.Came home from eye Dr appt,a few errands & here I sit!
