    Default Firefox 22.0 update

I downloaded this update and found that The Quilting Board no longer fits into the window without using the scroll bar. I googled this problem and it appears it is a bug. So I reset my computer to a previous version before I did the download. Are there other Firefox users that are having this problem? I'm using windows7 on a laptop.

I have Firefox 22 also and everything is fine. Will resizing with the CTRL key and the "+" key make it fit? I also have windows7 but use a desktop.

when browsers run updates they sometimes reset everything to the "factory" defaults.
    quite annoying.
doing the Ctrl- keystroke combination should zoom out (shrink the view.)
you can also hold the Ctrl key and rotate your mouse wheel toward you.

hmm I'm still using firefox 20. I guess this is a good reason not to upgrade. I use an add-on called no-squint that lets you resize things easily and it can be customized to individual websites. I got it after I got a new monitor that made everything too small for my old eyes.

the CNTRL + OR - was the first thing I tried. There was just no way to make it fit without scrolling side to side. I think it is discussed in this link http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/964081.

I rolled it back to Firefox 21 because I just can't deal with the scrolling to read everything.

Thanks ladies, I just learned about the control key and scrolling with the mouse. Never knew this before and I think it will come in handy.

do those that don't have a problem use their window at full width? i don't like to use full screen/width so that i can access the other icons on my desktop as needed.

I use mine full width. If I need something on my desktop I hit the show desktop button. But I have a shortcuts folder in my quicklaunch bar which has programs I use often so I don't usually need to use the desktop button. If you have windows XP you can just drag things to your quicklaunch bar. If you have Windows 7 it's a little more involved.

I can make it larger or smaller using the (don't know whchacallit) finger pad.
Seems to stay that way. Maybe it will work on your laptop.
I have Win. 7 and Firefox 22.0 update
