A guild member only had her quilt she designed seen at a quilt show. Someone took a picture and posted it on Instagram. A couple years later she saw her quilt image online being sold as ready made quilt. She contacted the company and was told to prove it was her copyright pattern. All she had was her say so. The legal fees were going to be more then she could afford and the hassle of it too stressful. She said forget it.

This is the reason I don’t do any banking online. Once it is out there, no matter how secure they say, someone will find a way to get my info. I’m sure my info is out there anyway. But, I am not going to add to the availability with multiple posts
