I have noticed lately that when I am posting a reply in a thread, that I can NOT correct it, or change things, even like going back to make a Capital letter...UNLESS, I post my reply and then go to edit post....makes me very frustrated at the time this takes to post a simply reply or comment.
has anyone else experienced this?
I use Firefox!

do you use the "Go Advanced" option? there are many more editing tools available there - including undo and redo buttons.

Has not been a problem for me and I've got Firefox.
You may be getting confused between the scroll bar for the reply and the scroll bar for the blog. I've been confused by that multiple times when going back to check what I've written to fix any spelling or other issues not caught immediately when I read what I wrote.
I go back and forth frequently to change what I wrote before I post it and haven't had the issue you describe. Were you trying to post an attachment, then found a typo in your written work?

nope, not confused as I don't do the blogs..
and not going advanced either...just a simple reply like this one...there are times when I need to back up, or I want to delete something "before" I post it, and it will not let me! Of course this is NOT one of those times....
