Ladies it might be because your not set up properly. Click on the 'settings' tab right up the top of the page. Then down the left side of the new page click on 'General Settings' You can then choose the settings that you want. Mainly I use the default settings but where it says Miscelaneous Options click on 'Enhanced Interface.' Since I did this it has worked much better.
Sandra to start a thread go to 'Home' Choose the forum you want , Main, Pictures, etc then at the top of the page left hand side is the 'New thread' tab just click on it and it takes you to the box to type into.

I have the same problem and have reported to Patrice. It happens every day and it is becoming a real problem so I don't post as often. If I just wait - switch to another tab and let the first one just sit there - it eventually gets posted. It is nothing to do with the "enhanced interface" - I already have that. I also have a very fast ISP and a new computer loaded with RAM. Now let me see if this post gets hung up...

I know very little about how to do alot of things on the board, but I have never had a problem posting a reply. Hope you can fix yours.

I have not had a problem posting a new entry, but I have tried to start a new thread twice now, and both of them are floating around in cyberspace somewhere, because it never posted here. Very discouraging.

I use the Quick Reply and it works well. I do have issues with the Go Advanced reply.

the only time i have been able to replicate this problem is when
(1) i used Internet Explorer
(2) my wireless network signal was well below it's normal strength.

even with the weaker signal, i have no problems at all using FireFox.
other members have said they prefer Google Chrome.
Safari seems to also be a fairly popular browser.

the tech team has been unable to replicate the problem.

even at work i find that different browsers work the best for different sites. there are some i'm required to use that don't work at all in Internet Explorer, but zip along wonderfully in FireFox. the reverse is also true for some sites. if i happen to be using my notebook and air card, Google Chrome is the one that performs most consistently.

i have no idea why. i just roll with the discoveries and use what works best for each situation. LOL

I feel lost and alone since the change, I never see a familiar face anymore, can't seem to get my PM sent out and have just been very quiet and not responding to much or at all. It is just not the same for me.
I am not real good on my computer and don't always understand computer talk.Like someone said "It is probably my age"

I am so sorry for you. I feel a lot of the same things. Do you use Internet Explorer? A lot of my problems apparently are with Internet Explorer, but I have always had it and it gives me no problems anywhere else so I am not going to change it. It is hard for me to learn to use something new and I have to hire someone everytime I need any changes done to my computer.
