Default Might Social Groups be a Reasonable Substitute for Blogs?

this is from the FAQ: https://www.quiltingboard.com/faq.ph..._social_groups

    i created a test group here: https://www.quiltingboard.com/groups...blogs-g29.html

it's open to all. let's play with it to see whether it's a viable alternative to blogs.
i'd be very interested in your constructively stated opinions about it.
for the sake of organization, put those into comments within the group.
please don't post them as threads here in the QB Help Center.

note: you can also access the Social Groups under the "Community" option on the top menu bar.

This will be interesting. I used to use my blog to save information/posts that I wanted to find quickly in the future. So, for me, this will not be a replacement.

try creating a Private Social Group.
post your links as individual Discussions.

it could just be the way my brain works (or doesn't ... depending upon your perspective) but once i started to remember where to go, it seems it would be easier than using a blog for that purpose.

    dunno.

she said again - with a bit of clarification.
