    Default not able to get on the quilting board

    I have a friend a QB member that cannot get in to the website since march 17 she keeps getting a page that says no longer available i even sent her a link to the QB and she still gets the same messg she says around the same time the chat room was acting up with the bell constenly ringing. so i told her i would post here and see if anyone is having trouble and is there a fix as to why she cannot get in at all. thanks to anyone that can help............i'm not haveing any problems but i think there a few that are.

    No problems on my iPad today but a couple of days ago the site was down. Have her Google ...is the site down for everyone or just me. That web site allows you to type in any site address and will tell you if it is the site or your computer.

    I'd suggest she clean out her cache, temp files and cookies, then reopen her browser and type www.quiltingboard.com in the address bar, see if that works.

    it sounds like she keeps trying to use out-of-date "digest" emails to access the board.

    the digest page was broken for a couple of days.
    the site was NOT down. it's just that those wretched emails and the digest page malfunctioned.
    anybody who only uses the email to connect would have had problems.
    the rest of us had all the usual fun [ok ... except for the temporary glitch with photos ... but that's a different story.]

    the emails are NOT the board.
    the digest links lists are NOT the board.
    nobody needs either one to access the board.

    if she follows mzzzquilts' advice, all will be well again.
