    Default Political messages

I consider this web site to be the most important e.mail I receive each day, with the exception of personal emails from family and close friends. There are several reasons for this.... I love to quilt, I enjoy the humor of many of our quilters, I've learned a lot, and if what I need isn't there, I can ask for it and get several responses of varying advice (so I can try more than one and go with what works for ME. I have also made several new friends, one is a constant pen pal and a few others ocassional, and about 8 of us from our area have gotten together several times to sew and chat.

But (you knew there was a "but" coming) I really doubt that I am the only person who has been made uncomfortable with these new political ads. I know that they are not being sent by the political "committees" but by legitimate businesses, but obviously they are businesses that have political agendas. You asked us not to get into a number of personally touchy areas here on this board and I ask you to do the same. Please do give this some immediate attention.

No political ads here but I do get that annoying flashing banana! I think there are different ad blocking programs that you can install on your computer.

I don't know if I do or don't. I don't look at the ad sections. I just read the board messages.
