Default posting pics from my mac

I have a mac laptop and can't get the pics to post. It says they are to large, but don't know how to make them smaller to fit. Can anyone give me some tips ?

I cannot post pictures either since the format was changed. I think perhaps I will try to remember to ask Apple. I have a one-to-one meeting in a couple weeks…if I find out anything, I will be sure to post it here……..MaryJane

Here's what I do on my iMac to change the memory size: Open the .jpg photo by double clicking. This should bring it up in the Preview program. Under "File" pull down to "Save As." At the bottom of the window you should see "Quality" with a horizontal scroll bar. Move the tab on the scroll bar toward "Least" and the memory size will be reduced, so it will be small enough to post here.

You can also change the physical size of the photo as described in one of the postings under "Mac users help" in #2 post above.

you can also use iPhoto to resize photos. select the picture, then use "file, export " The popup window that comes up will let you change the resolution and the size, both of which affect the final size of the file.

That is what I do and I find that choosing "large" works just fine for photos for the QB. I save them to a folder I created called "PHOTO EXPORTS" to facilitate finding them later. You can also name the individual photos rather than just leaving the number on them.
