I appreciate the Quilting Board very much. It has helped me soooo much over the years.
I hate to complain, but I want to agree that the green color and font is now very hard to read. My computer is new and I'm on windows 10. The wording is fuzzy with that color.
The last few years before I retired, I was seeing software move to lighter colors. I'm not sure of the reason, but it really caused problems with being able to read the computer.
Thank you for listening. And thanks again for all of your work.

this "new" format is for the birds! too small, hard to read, etc! guess we'll all be much more productive with our quilting projects since likely we won't be spending as much time on the Board! Know I won't--too hard on my eyes.

Hopefully the font color will be changed but, in the meantime, for those having difficulty with the contrast you can hold down CTRL while hitting "A". This will "select" everything on the page which (entirely incidentally) highlights it in dark blue and thus provides more contrast. I use that trick a lot when my eyes get tired after staring at a computer screen all day.

I was surprised when I tried to use my bookmark to get to the forum today and it didn't work. I had to use google to find my way here. What a shock. I'm with you, the page is on the small side and a bit hard to read on my tablet, but at least I can enlarge my screen. The pictures are thumbnails and if you click on them, they will open up one new page.

I am so happy to hear that others do not like this new format. I have been away for a few weeks, d/t the passing of my stepmother. Today, when I got back on, I thought something was wrong with my eyes!. I do not like the greenish color, and I definitely do not like how small the print is. Makes my old eyes blurry trying to read it.
You know that old saying...if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Well, now it IS broke, and needs fixing.

If you're using a computer (Windows or Mac) you can enlarge by holding down the Ctrl button and typing + (the plus button). On a Mac, use Command instead of Ctrl.
If you're on a phone or tablet, sorry, I got nuthin'.

Things will be different for a while as they try to adapt the appearance of the new version to our preferences.
They way things look to me now, for example, is radically different to the way they looked 15 minutes ago.
Just be patient.

Don't like the new format. Hard to use. Why change a good thing?
