    Default read vs unread threads

I really miss the change in color (green to magenta) when threads are opened. Is there any way to mark that I've looked at a thread? I generally don't remember the titles...

In another thread (where all of the 'upgrade' issues to the site are being addressed says the color goes from bold to regular font once you've read a particular thread but I've not had that delight yet. Sigh.

that is all controlled by your browser settings.
not controlled by the QB software.
mine acts as it always has.

I think that may not be true. Before the change, mine changed colors... after, only bold to non-bold and I did not change any settings on my computer

i will add it to the list as a question.

as a "fix", if it is a "fix", it will have to be a low priority.

bold-to-not should suffice - at least for now.

i think that depends on how you navigate.

my habit, for example, is to open threads in a new browser tab.
once i'm done i close that tab and go back to the list page (e.g. "New Posts", "Main", etc.)
since that page doesn't "know" i've looked at the thread, things are still bold.
i can "unboldify" it if i want by using the browser refresh.

the same holds true if i click directly through to the thread and then return to the list page using the browser's back button.

if, however, i click directly through to the thread and then re-select the list from a QB menu, the thread title will no longer be bold until the next time a new comment is added to it.

    clear as mud?
