Recently finished quilts
Would like to post pictures but have been unable. Each time I navigate to the pictures on my computer, open and try to upload the picture, I get an error message - failed to upload. I've read and re-read the instructions to both a new thread and creating and album without luck.
I uploaded many pictures in the distant past so fail to understand what I might be doing wrong.
Help.

Someone on the board directed me to resizr.com. I open my pic, click upload and add 400 for width and 500 for height. Resizr resizes the pic and I save the resized pic to my computer.
Also when adding pic to QB, don't forget to click upload.

It sounds to me that your photos are to "large" for the upload. Tapper seems to have a solution. There is probably a way to resize your photos in your computer's photo program too. Check your "Help" button.

I find the easiest thing is to adjust my camera before taking the photos. Most of us have our cameras set to the highest pixel/quality setting to get the best photos, but that is what makes the photo "large" and it exceeds the boards photo size limits. Go into your camera menu and adjust the picture quality setting down to the lowest pixel setting. You probably won't notice a difference in the quality of your quilt photos, but it will likely be enough reduction to upload directly. If you stil get the error message do the resizing on your computer described above. Just remember to adjust your camera back for other uses!!

Ellie...I had the same problem - there was a conflict/issue with my Internet Explorer. I even had an IT friend come and try to fix it but he could not make it work. I added Firefox as a browser - and whenever I want to post a photo to the Board I have to access the QB website using Firefox as the browser. Doing this I can upload photos no problem.

This is exactly what I did so I could load pics. Just took me a little while to figure out how to reset the size, but with the help of google, you can do anything. Good luck, because I know how frustrating it can be when you can't get a picture to load.
