I am getting E mails telling me I just replied to a thread DUH! I have tried it all,,,so when you reply to any thread or post you have to go and click at the top or you will get an e mail??? This place is making me crazy.(er) I have really tried to adjust but this place is like a maze ...

Well I don't get any emails but that's a good thing because I don't want to. Let me see what my settings are at. I only have the messaging & notification from Admin. selected and do NOT subscribe in Default thread; and Receive email notification of new PMs.

Select SETTINGS at the top right side of page.
Select GENERAL SETTINGS on the left side column.
Go to DEFAULT THREAD SUBSCRIPTION MODE and select THROUGH MY CONTROL PANEL ONLY.
SAVE

that's what I did and it worked for me.

Try this: go to settings, then subscriptions. Scroll down and on the right at the end of the subscriptions is selected threads. Uncheck everything under update subscription type and hit go. Good luck!

Go to that thread and then go to the top of the page and hit the drop down menu "Thread Tools" then click on "unsubscribe". I have mine set so that every time I answer on a thread it gives me an email when someone else replies to the thread. that way I always see when someone adds onto a thread I'm interested in.
