I just listed some fabric for sale. I read where I could list up to 15 as with the old board, but was only able to list 10. I found the instructions on how to resize and they were totally helpful. Very, very easy to list now, but was wondering how come I couldn't list 15. Thanks.

I have looked at many of the items listed for sale on the new format.

I even "PM'd" on a few of them only to find out they had been asked about numerous times yet no comments were shown on the post.

From what I understand, any comment must be approved by the moderator before it shows up on an item...yet only a few comments show up to show that someone has asked about an item (mine didn't for instance).

How do you know the immediate status of an item since the seller can't make annotations to the post immediately when they review their PM's?

I find it confusing to keep asking a seller about items when they aren't available and think it would be a hassle for the moderators to review every sale comment.

I am interested in other items but hesitate to keep "pming" the seller. If I knew the items was already pending I wouldn't waste either of our time checking on it.

Any suggestions or am I not doing something right?

Moonwalk, I have the same issue. An item that was for sale had a post on it asking what the shipping would be to a zip code. Item was not marked sold and no updates. I posted asking if the item was still for sale. The moderator had to review before it would post - never posted my post. I have to assume item was sold???? I find this very confusing. We will have to follow the "sale posts" to learn more on how things are being handled. Maybe PM's to the seller are the way to go!!

What is the difference between "Members Only Thrift Shop and Yard Sale" and "Items for Sale or Trade"? They seem to be very much the same.

The Members Only Thrift Shop and Yard Sale is broken down into two parts - the "items for sale or trade" and the "in search of". Other forums are also broken down into sections - free offers and donations for instance is broken down into offers and requests. If you look at the Thrift Shop, you will see that all the posts there have been moved to the appropriate sub-category.

Thanks. Seems like a lot of work for the mods. I didn't think anything was wrong with the old system.
