Where Is.... questions

That's how I do it. Just less background clutter and the plus factor that you can tell which message you have read. I'm so glad that someone suggested that.

Yes!! It's the only way I go now, too!

That's also my way of navigating. It eliminates the background clutter which I find distracting.

I haven't had a problem navigating. If you've left a comment, there is a green sticker on the envelope and take notice of open and closed envelopes.

"Archives" is the way to go for me. The Newsletter is pretty much useless...same old...same old. I have really tried to like the new board, but some changes are a real pain. By the way, anyone know how to bookmark?

I am also seeing nothing but a bunch of red 'X's...no envelopes for me.

I go the the "Archive" place - see black line on the bottom of each page and click on it. (if you've chosen the forums you like, they will show up in red.) Choose a forum, say "Main" for eg. The new posts are in green and the ones you've read are red (makes sense!)
I also have my thread display options set to "Thread Mode" so I can see a brief list of all the replies.
Good luck!

Thanks to you and to all that suggested archives. It really helps and goes much faster.
