2013 Fabric Moratorium

I think the album idea is great! Using the monthly
color can certainly be in your UFO collection, or a swap you're making, no reason you have to start a new piece, but you can if you want. The purpose is to use stash!

I've been a good girl recently. Not much shopping in the quilty department. The reason is that I took a good look at my room and all the stash that hadn't made it into the cupboard. I had to pull out all my stash and refold JUST to put away what I already have. So I am using stash at the moment.

Good for you Martina. I am ashamed to admit I still have my last purchase washed but not ironed.

I for one like the idea of stash busting but can't for the life of me manage the fabric buying moratorium. 😜

My daughter doesn't want the batiks I purchased in November so I guess my stash has increased. We need a new thread. My resolve is slipping. I had a small bundle of FQs in my hand at the grocery store - and it wasn't even good fabric, just pretty shades of lilac.

No one's beyond hope Martina!! We are all in this together. Yes I like the idea of having a moratorium to use up what I have on my shelves. My SIL says my sewing area has "exploded"--"fabric everywhere". I think he's scared as he did marry my daughter
