    This is Everybody's Favorite.
For those o' ya'll who don't know me I picked out my PC fabric before my book came in. (Don't ever do that!) There are several blocks that don't go well w/my patriotic theme. At least this one does.

I love "Color me happy". So cheerful. Does what it says on the tin!

Well y'all that binding went much better than I expected. This is only the second time I've done it on the machine and the first time was a disaster so I was quite apprehensive. Still not 100% satisfied with the results but then I'm pretty picky sometimes. Sorry no pictures. For some reason it won't accept them from this new phone.

Linda, I love your Thimbleberries quilt. The colors are awesome. Keep up the good work.

Hooray for mom-6. Ya finished one! "And another one's down, and another one's down, and another one bites the dust!" Sing the song, blow the whistle, & ring the bells!

I have been working on clearing out some of my UFO's. I found this small quilt that I had started, got the blocks together, it was from a quilt kit that some one gave me. As I got the blocks together, they are 14 inches square, but not enough to make a nice size lap quilt, to me just a bit narrow, they are measuring 28 x 56. I have no problem with the length, but I know if I add to the width, I should add to the length. Here is a picture of what I am working on

I need some input on how to finish it.

Here is what I am thinking about doing, adding a 7 inch boarder between the rows

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Oh, I really like this. Looks like a strip quilt - I don't think there is any need to add to the length if you do this. The long black strip looks great!
