That's quite an accomplishment, Jo. And it's beautiful, too. I know how it feels to have a time consuming quilt in the works and how good it feels to have it finished. I know you're happy, relieved...... excited!! Love it.

Hurray!!!... I think I can add one more UFO finished to our count for this year. Started this jeans quilt about two years ago..not counting how many years I was saving old jeans. Got it finished today, appropriately enough and will gift it to our son who served honorable in the US Army. It is just lap size but will do fine for those cold winter nights where he lives. Pictures of back and front. Plus I got to use up lots of thread.

It's fantastic, Sandy. What a wonderful gift for your personal veteran. Congrats.

Those are wonderful additions to the UFO-no-more list. Great job, ladies.

I never officially joined this challenge, but I'm working on UFOs. One more will be done tomorrow; then, by my count I have three left. Hope to finish by year's end. I'm going to celebrate by doing a quilt for myself!

I finished hand sewing the binding down on two of my UFO's this past week but, unfortunately, can't post photos until after the holidays since they are both going out as gifts to family members. That leaves only 2 more UFO's from my list of 12 at the beginning of this year. I am so glad I joined this thread and got so much done this year.

Can't remember the last time I finished something! This is a gift for a new baby. Super fun backing.

Nice finishes--saw the FWS in it's own thread and liked it then! Denim warm and durable for sure-I have one of these started somewhere. And what a cute checkerboard...

Sandy: Love the denim, a great way to deal with heavy fabric.
Frew: Great finish! I've just been told that I have a new grandchild on the way. Need a really special one for this one, a first child.
Well failed miserably with my resolution to finish my sandwiched quilts. Six finished in 2013, none in 2014, that's just sad. Guess what my New Year resolutions will be.
