    Default One UFO completed- YEAH

This week , I Finished the backing, simple quilting mixed with decorative stitches, and bound this quilt I made last year. My 18 year old quilt inspector seems to think its ok.
Today, DH asked that I make Carlos ( our 8 month old cheweenie) a quilt for his crate when he goes to bed at night. So made a small crazy quilt out of fleece. Poor Carlos dosen't know if he should drag it around or chew it. Lol

I'm definitely in! The only time i finish a quilt is when it's needed right away. Otherwise, it just sits! Thank goodness labor is inevitable or i would still be pregnant! Need to get moving on these!!

I think it's fun to see pictures of fur kids! Beautiful pup, and sweet kitty! Love the black " hive"! At first i thought it might be a hat, lol. I have an ancient black cat, too. He splits his time between dh and me, and the warm office, hottest room in the house. There will definitely be another. All my furs are rescues. And dh keeps me at four, so when simon passes i know there will be another cat that needs the home and love we've got to give.

Zozee: What a great I Spy quilt for a little one. Since there is white on the reverse of your quilt, I think I would use that. My early efforts at quilting I used a stipple or a cross hatch. Good finish!
Nanny: Love your pattern! Such bright, lovely geometric lines.
All I seem to have done so far this year is start new projects. Not exactly my objective.

I think I'd like join, however in addition to the ...WIP, PIB, & uFOs I'd like you all to know that I have SEVERAL. Phds! Yes aren't you impressed? You should be after all it has taken me many many years to get these PhDs. I am very proud of them too! In fact I think I have close to 8-10 PhDs! Impressed I know right?

Oh BTW: for three of you that don't know....a. PhD is...Project Half Done! Lol. Had ya going there didn't I????

I'm in. I'm on a fabric diet in fact today I was so proud of myself I was at my LQS & actually had 2 fat 1/4s in my hand (just because I liked them) & put them back. I am determined to only buy if I need it to finish a current project.
    Day 3 and doing good!!

I'm in. I have 10 UFO's that come to mind, maybe even more. Think I will have a better chance sticking to this than any fabric moratorium. All I ever do there is crash and burn. Let's all meet in the Dining Car for a glass of wine and dessert!

Oh I fell off the wagon already--instead of working on WIP or UFO I started on a new project. Hey the good news is it's finished!!! Yeah.

OK--LOL, guess at least it didn't become a new UFO!! So what did you make??

Tomorrow I am going to get a "PIG" out and cut the fabrics. This is a quilt I need finished by the 1st week in March. It is for someone else and they chose the fabrics...not ones I really like so I keep putting it off. I hope once it's cut I will just do it!!
