I pulled stash for the Bonnie Hunter mystery and there are some gaps in the cupboard. There is hope for me yet.

Sorry for losing your friend, calla..I'm sure you see memories in those pieces of fabric she bought when you were in a shop together...I have a friend like that too.

It was a Bonnie Hunter pattern from year before last. She has taken it down now and will have it for sale (the pattern) soon if she doesn't already. She leaves the current year pattern up all winter and then removes it to add to her next book. She runs each project as a mystery quilt so one never knows until it is finished how it will look.

OK This is why I seriously have to stop buying. I just finished the top for this table runner. Each tree is different and I used over 60 fabrics. While they are not all Christmas per se, I still have a whole lotta red, green and neutral. I'll repost when it's quilted. I want to quilt each tree differently.

She just sorta guessed at the triangle placement when sewing, then whacked off any unevenness to square it up. Since I couldn't do that, I marked the stitch lines at each of the corners and pin matched. Also, mine finished at a different width than what was quoted in the tutorial for the trunk part, so don't cut that fabric until you measure your trees. It actually went really fast. Took about 2 days.
Table is just under 18'
