ellie66 (post 1371) The LC blue and white quilts are wonderful and what a treasure for those twin boys. I would love to see them (quilts) in about 7 years. Hope they are well loved. I am curious what you did to make them different? Martina, what fun things you have been up to at this time of year. Shopping with someone else's money and helping for less fortunate with food drive. You are a special angel. When this thread starts again for next year, I am signing up. I, as many of you, really need to use what I have so making that my number one priority with no buying anything unless it is absolutely impossible to finish otherwise. I can't express what the QB means to me. Knowing all of you this way is simply wonderful! Hope you all have wonderful holidays.

OK, so when do we start the fabric moratorium for 2016? I need to join that challenge! Didn't have much fabric at beginning of 2015. I sure did a lot of shopping this year.

Sandy - one quilt is pretty much a regular log cabin while the other is called a faux log cabin. That on goes together really fast. I've made the faux several times but first time for log cabin. I found the pattern free on internet.
equigle5 the next one should start the first of the year.

I will organize it the first week of January. The moderator needs to get involved and she is very busy over Christmas, so don't look for it Jan 1!!!! This thread will be closed and one of the last posts will be a link to the new thread.

When I went to pick up my BFF's gift card at Beverly's yesterday 1 1/2 yards of green fabric jumped into my cart. It is the constant for the Bonnie Hunter mystery....she says sheepishly.

I get that same enchanted shopping cart, except it's at the grocery store and pastries just seem to appear.
