Emma: You really scored! Wow! 18 yards for $8. It will be interesting to see how you use the different pieces.

Fellow Addicts: Thank you for all the WOOHOO's from the group. Knew I could count on all of you.
Sandy: It's so funny that you picked out the cat fabric. After I took the picture, I realized that probably no one would be able to see what it was or see how cute it is. I will probably find a border or a back to put it in or since I only have two yards maybe even fussy cut it.

I needed the next piece of fmq practice fabric and saw a panel piece that I had picked up years ago and never did anything with because I didn't know what to do with it. Perfect for this use I think. As a final goal with them I hope to "quilt as you go" all the panels and some other matching fabrics and come up with a single bed sized quilt for the women's shelter. It's rather ambitious I know but I'm feeling froggy. Which may end up being a good thing. So even though I bought two fat quarters today they were both for this project so I think I'm in good shape.

Wow, Emma, you really scored! Unless it's butt ugly, I don't seem to be able to pass up anything that's less than a dollar a yard either. Happily, it's a pretty rare find!

tkhooper, I say you get a pass if you buy fabric for an intended use promptly (say within a year) LOL! I think everyone is doing very well for themselves, considering our 'addictive' hobby. Emma..I just like cats so any cat fabric calls my name.
