2015 Fabric Moratorium

Altaiss: Yes love the color ranges. Then you put them on sale for under $5 a yard and there is simply no hope that I'll resist.

love all the fabrics emma, especially the orange floral. I wish I had that one in my stash. I'm light on orange. But I have plenty of fabric to keep me busy this year.

As my DH says: Honey, what does "need" have to do with anything? So no, Emma, quantity is not necessarily part of the decision-making equation. (although it is why we are here, right?)

Whoops forgot where I was Martina, thanks for the gentle reminder. Lost track of the fact that I was supposed to be chagrined over my fall from grace.

Lovely batiks, Emma.
Well, my stash grew again but it was given to me. A couple of boxes and a few small bags came indirectly to me from a quilter that donated part of her mother's stash to my church group. I got lots of color coordinated strips along with some denim pieces.
Now I just need to stay home and get some sewing done! Hopefully July will calm down.

I have a 40% off coupon to a sewing store. Hoping to get an open-toe foot for my machine. If not, it also applies to yardage........Fingers crossed that they have the foot, coz that is what I actually NEED.

OK, wish me luck. I'm participating in a crafter-to-crafter sale tomorrow. No completed items, just craft supplies. I've got yarn, paper crafting stuff and fabric. I'm bringing about 50 yards, and it didn't even make a dent in my stash. I just hope I don't see something on someone else's table & come home with more than I started with!

Stay strong, princess. It's a sale, not a trade. lol
They didn't have the foot I wanted but I did pick up a Teflon foot to work with clear vinyl. Only $10 so I can't complain. Must confess that I saw a GORGEOUS fabric and kept picking it up - putting it back - picking it up - putting it back.... Finally I said: FABRIC MORATORIUM! NO FABRIC WILL BE BOUGHT TODAY! Dang, I hate it when I have to get harsh with myself. If I still feel strongly about the fabric tomorrow, I can always go back but it is too blazing hot in Sacramento. I think I'll pass.
