Emma, I think it's very pretty as is. I don't think it needs anything but a finish.

Me too. I would quilt it with lots of swirls.

I've had these block kits for well over a year. Got 4 of the blocks made some time ago, then set it aside, not sure how I wanted to use the blocks. It is not yet quilted, but was able to get this far last weekend. It is promised to a friend for her birthday on July 6th, so no time to lose getting it finished. It is apprx 30"x40"

allspots---what fun blocks/fabrics! I always do better with a goal/finish date on a project. I would think you should be able to get this quilt done in a little over a week. I have a quilt I need to sandwich tomorrow and start quilting. I really want to finish it by July 4th and it is bigger that yours, so I better get busy! It will be mostly SITD, so shouldn't take too long.

Thanks carriem - Mine will primarily be quilted SITD as well. Have plenty of other UFOs to take the place of this one when it is done.

Allspots: Gorgeous! The colors and block designs are lovely. Congrats on finishing the top. Carrie: I remember when deadlines were true motivators, now days they don't even seem to influence me. After all, they can always be moved.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Is that great minds thinking alike? Are you going to do a candy cane outer border Emma?

My UFO went in the closet to incubate until I'm more skilled or less overwhelmed. Maybe both.

So a friend gave me her UFO to work on.

Tk - ack! I hope my friends don't start giving me UFOs to work on - I can't seem to catch up on my own, in fact I think I have started more potential UFOs all on my own!! You are an awesome friend to work on this.

Emma, I love the Christmas quilt!

Allspots, those are luscious colors, very nice!
