Carriem, Nice quilt projects. The blue quilt looks great on the bed, I like the colors.

    Default June UFO

This is my UFO finish for June. I used a different quilting motif in each color block including a new curved ruler. The binding is sort of a faux piped binding done all by machine. There are several tutes on how to do this on the QB.

playswithcolor---that is a bright cheerful quilt! Great job!!

I got 2 projects finished up today. Both were sandwiched earlier this week. The quilt is being donated to a hospice house where a friend died a cancer a couple years ago. The table topper is going to some friends when we go to visit in a couple weeks...I made it as a sample for the LQS where I worked, but never finished it.

Nice bright finish, playswithcolor..like the binding edge...I want to try that on some small quilts...

Carrie, what a generous gift and a tribute to your friend. It will be of comfort I'm sure. The four patch posy looks so summery and will transition into fall nicely.

Love the 4 patch posie. That is so cute. I may have to look for a fabric I can do that with.

Can UFO's be any type of sewing project or just quilting? I have both and it fills up a large laundry basket I'm new to the QB.

Gone most of the summer, but home enough to finish a few more...they all just needed quilting & binding. I do my binding by machine; sew to backside, then flip to front for final sewing. I don't have time for that word "HAND". 1. Quilt guild row by row quilt started in 1/2014, finished 6/2015. 2. Row from #1 that I didn't like in the quilt, so made runner. Both of these are made completely with scraps & they just multiplied instead of going down!!! How does that happen? 3. Mysterytrain #2 from 2012 made with batik scraps, finished 6/2015. 4. Mysterytrain #6 from 2014 made with boy cowboy-looking scraps, finished 6/2015. The last pic is the back of this quilt. I worked like a "crazy lady" in the 2 weeks I was home in June between trips! I'm just happy to get all these finished!
