Sherry ...sounds like my life 1 step forward, 2 steps back. LOL..

I'm creating a pile of miniatures, but do have 2 UFO'S in the pile of 8 and I'm using scrap triangles and strips to make them.

I hope to finish the Attack Cat Quilt this month. I'm pinning the binding. I also hope to finish the community quilt that I picked up last month.

My UFO project for this month is the MSQC Big star quilt in King size for my Sis. I have six blocks put together out of 16 and all the material cut for the rest of the blocks. Going to be a bit of challenge for me as my piecing has much improved over the last year and I do my HST differently now and if I do the new way they will not match the other blocks. Since the material is now disc and I can't find it anywhere I need to make do. Sure to be a challenge but will be the 6th UFO finished this year.

Once again the prodigal quilter is saying hi. Loved seeing all the latest finishes. Since I posted last around middle of July, I have not done what I said I would doto begin FMQ'ing a small lap quilt. Instead I started in on our Guild row quilt and am really liking how it is coming along. We have had 3 months of blocks now and I think I may get two rows caught up tomorrow. Will post an 'in progress' picture after tomorrow. The way my life is going, I don't see a lot of quilting in my future for at least 2 more months. Life is good...just busy. At least some of you are finishing your UFO's. Proud of you!

My guilty face is red with shame. I have just merrily been reading along and have not let any one know, I am alive and will. Just created a new flimsy but have plans to finish it. started with some odd squares and leftovers from another quilt I made earlier this year. Thus I considered it a UFO. Made more blocks and and finished the top tonight. Now pressing well, pick out backing, layer, quilt and bind. May be a week to finish!

I sewed on my binding backwards. Going to make sewing on the back a real adventure. But when it is done I'll be able to say I beat a jinx.

My next project UFO will be to finish my floral top and my sister's doll quilt. At the same time, I will be finishing my Halloween blocks and starting my sunbonnet Sue blocks. Will keep you posted.
