Playswithcolor, a quilt worth completing. It was just waiting for the right binding color and technique, so it took ten years. It's a georgious quilt! I love it.

Default Another UFO bites the dust

This UFO was from a pattern testing session. The test pattern was called Log Jam. I'm not sure if it was released under that name or not. All we knew, was to bring a jelly roll. I normally don't use precuts, but a local shop had one with straight edges and it included Australian fabrics. I think this pattern looks best with less contrast. Not my favorite quilt but it's done! Quilting was my first attempt at a panto.

Well, you may not be find this quilt a favorite, but I am sure that others will. I think it is lovely quilt. Congrats on checking it off your UFO list! Just think of all the skills you developed during this process.

Jeez...I am off the board for 3 weeks and all these miraculous UFO finishes appear. Way to go everyone. I have to say that the Log Jam one really appeals to me, Playswithcolor. I think it appeals to me because I can't see a definite laid out pattern easily...or at all. :-) Will try to do better with posting once in a while but will be gone again this weekend. Headed off to a wedding of classmate. I sort of helped instigate her finding another of our classmates and he in turn got her connected with another and now the two of them are getting married. Both have lost spouses a few years ago so will make them both happy in their twilight years. I hope that in 2016, I can post at least 3 finished UFO pictures on this thread.
