Wow, I did finish four UFOs this year. I have several tops done hoping to get those quilted next year. Can you add those to the total of finished projects Sandy? I am sure if I did hard enough I could find the photos of them. One was used for the backing of my daughter's double wedding ring quilt, a 30s kit project and a swap from the board, a "Which Came First" batik kit, an Invisible Snowman kit, a blue work embroidery quilt, an embroidered/quilted jacket, and a Hunter's Star (which ended up being two but one is done and given to my daughter) so that is five for sure.

Anoka quilter..you said, "So do kits you have had around for years, and I mean years, count as a UFO?". I would say that kits do not count as UFO's until you open them up and begin cutting..no matter how old. Just my opinion. Quilter Momma, with your 5 that brings the total so far to 296! Quite impressive in my book!

Here is my list of UFOs to be done for next year. There are more on my list of UFOs, but these I know for sure. I do like the idea that a kit doesn't count until you have started it. Whew, that means the 41 kits I have are not UFOs. If they were, OMG, please help me again. I would have to do the 120 in a year like I did in 2012 just to get things done and with the applique kits I have, I would be doing nothing but quilting. LOL After seeing my list, I do need to knuckle down and get these done this year. I know I would have a few ribbons out of these.

Wow Quilter Momma, that is quite the list, good luck. Looking forward to seeing you get them completed and all the pictures.

You and me both Anoka. It would be such a treat to finish these up. About 28 of them need quilted. I finish them and they sit to be quilted because I quilt customer quilts instead of mine. I am finally getting caught up on customer quilts so I should be able to get to some of mine. Plus, I syke myself mentally out of getting them done because I put such high expectations on myself. So alas, they sit and wait.

QuilterMomma, I'll start the new thread either late on 12/31 or very early 1/1. Sandy will be participating this coming year but she's not going to be conducting the train. That's my new assignment! I'm happy for the opportunity. Yeah!

We're going to get this train rolling right away so get ready everyone...it's almost boarding time!
