Here is the picture of the gray Starlight version with the wonky star. this pattern is free off craftsy. I will say I made the first one from memory so my star is not quite where the pattern calls for but I didn't really care as I was making 3 and figured they could all be slightly different. Plus I wanted it bigger then the pattern called for so was adding more rows I just forgot how many would go where
I will try and get a picture of the blue one. The black and white is all sewn into pairs but not put together yet. The rows take 66 charms I did the star wonky so I could use more leftover charms on that part too that took 24 more. On the blue I did make normal HST for that as I had some bigger scraps I could use so I used 74 5 charms and the bigger scraps were cut into 6 inch squares and made into two HST each then trimmed down. The three of these made a huge dent in my left overs in that size.

Retired teacher what a nice selection of small squares. Your gray quilt top looks very pretty and nice.
Pat on the back to all who have not bought fabric lately. And a hand up to get back on the wagon to others. Please post pics of your fabric so I can live through your purchases. I do love to see pretty fabric.
I still must be sick. I have not been in the mood to shop for fabric lately, so no fabric for me this month. I'm not totally sick, I still in the mood to make things. LOL

Grabbed a photo of the blue starlight and if you like the pop of yellow I also found some soft cuddle fabric in my stash that looks like it will work for the back. Got all the black and white pressed but thinking after playing with the Minky scraps that I might have another idea for those blocks. And then I cut up some more solid scraps using the MSQ half hexie template and from stash again my focus fabric. I can't decide if I am on a roll trying to use stash or just nuts.

I had to make a run to the LQS yesterday to get some binding fabric for a gift that needed to be done TODAY. Here is the result. This one provided a great challenge for FMQ opportunities. Me thinks I overcame my fear of FMQ.

Altairss you've been busy! Great way to use some stash as scraps are that as well.
Martina I love that quilt and the quilting is great. WOW you shouldn't fear FMQ at all.
