[QUOTE=tkhooper;7424692]361 sorry to say.
You're right! Forgot it's a leap year. One more day to behave myself.

Went to 2 thrift shops, fondled the fabric, but didn't buy any. We also went to a bookstore where I did buy a quilting magazine. There were 2 patterns I really liked and I can use my stash for both, but need to finish what I've got going first.

I did not buy fabric for the first 5 days of this year then I $$$$$$$$. Justified the sale "is that it was for backing" for a UFO to be finished !!!In my local Guild I am in charge of all the UFO's that are completed. I must lead by example.

I don't find much fabric in the thrift shops where I live but when I do it's very hard to resist. Still kicking myself for not buying some king size 100% cotton flat sheets from several years ago for quilt backs! I mean a shopping cart full! I'm still debating whether it's good or bad my shops don't have much. And I am remembering what moratorium means lol!

I went to my LQS yesterday to purchase a gift. I am proud to say that is ALL I bought, even though they had Minion fabric and my 1yo grandson love Minions and I have yet to make him a quilt.

Hi! I am going to jump on the FM2016 bandwagon too. A little while ago I decided to try and stop buying crafty "stuff" by simply stopping shopping, so my stash has not grown much. But I feel that before I buy more, I need to use what I have or give it away -- some of it I just don't like anymore. I also have several UFOs lying around. So that is my plan -- finish off some UFOs, and reduce my stash.

This has been one of my "resolutions" for a few years but as you know resolutions are made to be broken.
This year I am going to be "strong". I have made a list of what I want to achieve this year and I am sure that I can get most of the fabrics from my stash.
Sometimes I have that "perfect piece" but too afraid to use it in case I need it for something else. Do I have a problem??????

I've been with this group of quilters and fabric lovers for a couple of years now, wonderful group by the way, and have noticed just recently my stash is decreasing!!!! Never thought that was a possibility! Cannot sing enough praises on how this has helped me to become more responsible with my purchases of beautiful wonderful fabric.
