Jane, I'm following your other post. I hope you have a good outcome. I am scared to death to mark my tops! I've read so many posts from folks with issues. Fortunately my quilting style is more freeflow & doesn't need marking.
Thanks for the info on your crumb quilt

Oh O, I broke the moratorium in a big way. I was visiting a friends shop and she had a trashbag full of someones stash who was moving and needed to get rid of it. I said sure! And thus I broke the moratorium all to pieces. But what fun! i already used 10 inches of a canvas fabric in the stash for the handles on my very first attempt at a tote. So it's not going to waste. I haven't even got it put away and I'm already using it. So all's good in the hood.

Received my candies today 8/22/16 in the mail for a fabric swap on this QB. A bit distracted. My DH bought me a new white CRV AWD Touring Honda for our 40th wedding anniversary today. First place he wants to drive? to an out of town LQS!!! Thanks. but no thanks, I am on a strict fabric moratorium Diet right now. (I assume swapping is not cheating, correct me if I am wrong)

Is there enough to share?....I know where 11,000 salivating receivers are located via pm on a popular quilting board. Ha Ha or just a paired down list of one , ME ! lol. Just kidding, congrats, and have lots of fun with your new scraps. Show pics, please.

I'll upload a picture later. I can't pay for postage but I'm willing to share if you don't mind me sending it COD.

I've decided that the 2 yards of flannel will be a start on the victorian lady single bed quilt. It's way in the future but at least it is a start. And the idea of a floral flannel for the backing is nice.

So far this year all I have bought was the backing fabric for the veggie quilt and a fat quarter pack to finish the chevron. I completely ran out of white thread yesterday and lo and behold, connecting threads was having a sale. I ordered just thread. I put fabric in my basket, took it out, put it in, took it out, but in the end all I bought was thread. Yay me! It was really hard, though.
